An additional incentive is the Highland Community Builders’ Constructing Affordable Housing Program (CAHP), which is available on a limited and first-come, first-served basis. This program provides a stand-by purchase agreement to the builder to buy a completed home that is valued at $155,000 or less, which does not sell in 120 days, for 85% of its appraised value. CAHP is only available for two houses at any one time for this phase of the neighborhood.
